PLEASE NOTE OUR "WINE PAIRINGS" CLASSES ARE A BIT DIFFERENT FROM OUR DEMONSTRATION COOKING CLASSES IN THAT A LOT OF TIME IS SPENT ON THE WINES AND MOST OF THE DISHES ARE PREPARED THEREFORE THERE'S NOT A LOT OF ACTUAL COOKING DURING CLASS.
Sommelier Anna Ouchley will join me in this class featuring some fabulous Italian wines from the Ruffino family of winemakers. We'’ll start with the Borgo Conventi Pinot Grigio paired with an Arugula, Avocado and Sunflower seed salad with a Lemon Parsley Vinaigrette; the Lodola Nuova Montepulciano with a Cheese Tortellini, Spinach and Tomato Soup with fresh basil and Pecorino Romano and the acclaimed Modus (Sangiovese, Cabernet and Merlot blend) with Beef Ragout over Rigatoni.
