I'd
like to thank everyone who attended and those who sent emails or phoned
for making our Grand Reopening Celebration such a success! As usual
there was no shortage of great food in the Kitchenique Cooking School
thanks to the talents and generosity of Dan Pettis of One 20, A Modern
Bistro in Niceville; Brannon Janca and Cortney Winterword of The Lakeplace
and Stinky's; Dom Damiano and Buzz Woodham of Fat Clemenza's; Carl
Schaubhut of Fire; John Jacob of Vintij; and Scott Nelson of The Culinary
Gallery. While the wine wasn't bad either thanks to Kathy Fly-Bridges
of Southern Wine and Spirits, the comaraderie was what I most enjoyed!
After 24 years to have long time friends, former employees, chefs
and new customers take time to come in and compliment our new digs
and wish us well was truly heartwarming. I feel fortunate to be a
part of the Gourmet Industry which I love and to be a member of this
wonderful community.
Thanks again to all of you for making our "re-birth" at
City Market a success!

AT THE KITCHENIQUE COOKING SCHOOL!
Calling all ladies
to join us at The Kitchenique Cooking School every Tuesday in October
for some quality "all about you" time! From 10:30am to 11:30am
you're invited to a FREE FOCUSED TASTING where you can sample, learn
and ask questions about Extra Virgin Olive Oils, Gourmet Vinegars, Seafood
Sauces, Meat/Poultry Sauces, Sea Salts, Peppers, Spices, Herbs and lots
more! In addition there will be a drawing for a fabulous door prize
at each tasting and you must be present to win! Check out this schedule;
